Methow Valley Benefit for the Victims of the Carlton Complex Fire

Blues for the Burn is a benefit for victims of the Carlton Complex Fire at the Winthrop Barn this Friday night August 29, 2014. Music starts at 7pm and goes to 11pm.  Too Slim and the Taildraggers is the head act for the night joined by Honey and the Killer Bees and Fred Cooley and Greg Hardy. The donation suggestion is 20 dollars.

Tim has a prophetic new song Last Train  that erily reminds us of the summer of 2014 Methow Valley.  First the Complex Fire in Carlton started with lightening strikes and 315 homes were lost to the fires. Then came the Signal Hill Fire, soon after, started by a tourist vehical break down and sparking. 10 more homes burned to the ground. The next day a wind storm took out at least two homes and the latest round is a mud slide and flooding taking out another 10 homes in the Methow Valley.

Here is Too Slim live:

Hope to see you there.
