Winthrop Washington hosts Christmas at the End of the Road every year. The vision to get Winthrop’s Hub full of GREEN activities has been kicked off by the completion of the Winthrop Spring Creek Bridge. As you sit in the Ice Rink building and gaze out at the view, you can’t help but smile at what a great place Winthrop truly is. The vantage point above the Ice Rink shows how great this recreational hot spot is. The new pedestrian and cyclist bridge is an exciting back drop to the view of the meadow, ski trails and the ice rink. The Methow river meanders its way through town ringed by the famous North Cascades Mountains. Does not get much better than this: ski trails, hiking trails, pedestrian bridge and more is planned for future GREEN enbeavors of Winthrop Washington. We have waited a long time for this bridge and so there was a very gleeful celebration ceremony honoring the completion and the long journey to get there.
