Methow Valley Mystery Hikes are back and what a season this is shaping up to be.  The snow is still pretty darn plentyful in the meadows north of Winthrop Washington and Mazama, but the open slopes that are untreed, and frankly way to hot to hike later in the season are practically snow free.  Add to that the beautiful delicate early season wild flowers, the golden grasses and the fresh new green sprouts just starting to spring up, and you have early mountain hiking feast for the eyes.  No bugs, no crowds, just the great outdoors of Methow Valley.
