Methow Valley Real Estate March 2012 Market Reports

The March 2012 Methow Valley Real Estate Market Reports based  on data from the Northwest Multiple Listing Service are here.  This is the first of three blogs about the market for March 2012 in our beautiful Winthrop Washington area.  The trend is our friend and this trend is showing increasing sales for the year as compared to 2011.  The  market continues to be very active and we expect inventory to start rising dramatically as spring 2012 approaches.

Last year the North Cascades Highway had one of the latest openings ever.  Seems like we get snow later and later each year in Methow Valley, and we have certainly enjoyed some powder skiing in the early ski season.  This year the Department of Transportation has started to work on the spring opening for the highway three weeks earlier.

Additionally the flurry of sales activity for this year is very encouraging.
