The market reports for Methow Valley real estate this past month is mixed. The one increase across the board is inventory. This is unusual for our area because our North Cascades Highway (closed for winter 2012) is not accessable for Winter months and tends to correspond to the Methow Valley peak months for typical Methow Valley real estate listing increases. Yet this late fall we are seeing an increase in inventory. Perhaps seller confidence is mirrored by this unusual market activity.
Pending Sales are up for the quarter as compared to last year but sales and pending sales are not up compared to the previous month of September 2012, and the October month one year ago.
