Methow Valley Real Estate Home Sales 2012

Methow Valley home sales are on the move.  Sales and Pending sales are up from a slower 2011 and most of the real estate community is jumping up and down, working long hours to accommodate all the excitement.

This increased sales activity has been consistent for three strong months both locally and nationally.

Here once again is the Methow Valley real estate monthly market report as provided from the North West Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS) database.  You can see this month compared to this month one year ago, and the year in review.  Spring has been particularly beautiful this year with green hills and wildflowers abundant. With the beauty of spring we may be seeing our economic recovery which is good news for everyone.

The interest rates are near historic lows, the prices have dramatically dropped from highs of 2007 and the rents are rising, meanwhile new construction has not been on the rise and these are some of the key variables helping to spur the real estate market recovery.
