Methow Valley Market Reports 2011 Year In Review Pending Sales

The 2011 Northwest Multiple listing Service Market Data for Pending Sales as well as a review of Pending Sales for December 2011 all compared to 2010 Methow Valley reports.

 This report is one of three for Active, Pending and Sold Listings in Methow Valley monthly and yearly review.

 The report covers residences located in any of our 19 communities of Wolf Creek, Mazama, Lost River, East County Rd.,  West County Rd., East Chewack, West Chewack, Twisp, Twisp South, Twisp River, Winthrop, Winthrop South, Winthrop West, Pine Forest, Twin Lakes, Edelweiss, Rendevous, Carlton and Methow.

Of striking note is the average days on market for 2011 compared with 2010.  Are the sellers and buyers coming together more quickly?  It appears so for our market.

The average sale price again is lower than last year but the median price remains very close to Methow Valley 2010 median home prices.
